Somo to Santander:

 

As the crow flies, Somo is actually only a very short distance from the capital of Cantabria, Santander which is just a short boat trip across the Bay of Santander.

The tour of the centre is probably best done on foot. The trip to El Sardinero and the lighthouse at Cabo Mayor could be done on foot or by bike
